Meet Our James Island Dentist
Dr. Jay W. Hustead, DMD
Dr. Jay Hustead brings to the James Island office over 25 years of experience in cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry. As a third generation dentist, he followed both his father and grandfather to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University.
While owning and operating large group practices in Maryland, Dr. Hustead also served as Dental Director for a regional dental insurance company. He found time to be one of the original founders of the Stanton Dental Center in Annapolis which was a free clinic for those less fortunate in need of dental care. Dr. Hustead participated with the Mission of Mercy in Maryland as well.
