Dr. Michael Ammons, DMD
Education
Dr. Ammons graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s in chemical engineering. He then went on to attend the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After graduation, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, where he focused on surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. Prior to opening his current practice, Ammons Dental by Design, Dr. Ammons was the owner and operator of a traveling dental implant service in the Charleston, South Carolina area.

As part of his commitment to providing the best care possible to his patients, Dr. Ammons completes an average of 200 hours of continuing education each year. He is also a member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Ammons and his wife, Melisse, have four boys – twins, Jeremiah and Elliot, Gideon, and Jude Sawyer.
Dr. Inesha Baker
Education

About Dr. Baker
Dr. Baker grew up in the West Ashley area of Charleston. She knew before even graduating high school that dentistry would be the best career path for her. She has a passion for making people smile and enjoys the artistry side of dentistry. She is compassionate and understanding with her patients, which really goes a long way for patients that have any dental phobias.
When Dr. Baker is enjoying her free time, she likes to travel and has a goal to visit all of the wonders of the world!
Dr. Charles Lynam
Dr. Charles Lynam is a dedicated general dentist based in our Summerville office. He takes pride in offering a wide range of services and enjoys partnering with his patients to achieve their oral and overall health goals.
Dr. Lynam earned his degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech. He then pursued his dental education at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at Temple, Dr. Lynam distinguished himself as a leader, serving as the Student Body President, Class President, and President of the Periodontology Study Club. He also held executive positions with his dental fraternity, Alpha Omega, the Temple Dental Alumni Association, and the Temple Dental Student Ambassadors.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lynam enjoys staying active through exercise, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He also loves relaxing on the beach, playing piano, and cheering on his alma mater’s sports teams. Go Hokies!

Dr. Aashna Oberoi
We are delighted to announce the arrival of Dr. Aashna Oberoi to the Camden, SC community. With her impressive educational background and dedication to serving others, we are confident that she will be a valuable addition to our community.
Dr. Aashna Oberoi is a dedicated and accomplished professional who has excelled in both academia and community service. Graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with both a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a dental degree, she has demonstrated her commitment to furthering her education and serving others.
Her passion for helping others began at a young age, as she showed her interest in the medical field by attending career day in first grade dressed in gloves and a stethoscope. This early passion has only grown stronger throughout her life, leading her to pursue a career in dentistry. Her dedication to serving underserved communities was further solidified during her participation in the Global Medical Training Program, where she provided free dental care in the Dominican Republic.
About Dr. Aashna
Dr. Aashna is dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive care to her patients, taking the time to understand their individual goals and needs in both dentistry and life. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills in the field.
In her personal life, Dr. Aashna is looking forward to exploring her new home on the East Coast with her fiancé and their furry companion, Zuko. Her commitment to both her professional and personal life reflects her drive to continuously grow and make a positive impact.
Dr. Blakeney Sitton
Dr. Sitton was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, but South Carolina quickly became a second home when she attended the College of Charleston. There, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Spanish and had the joy of playing first base for the College’s softball team for two seasons.
As much as she loved the game, Dr. Sitton’s true passion lay in dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Sitton had the privilege of shadowing and assisting a local dentist in Charleston for two years, which solidified her commitment to the field and gave her a deep understanding of patient care from a unique perspective.
Dr. Sitton then pursued her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington, KY. Her training there was comprehensive, covering all aspects of general dentistry.
For the past four years, Dr. Sitton has practiced in Fort Mill, SC, and is absolutely thrilled to be coming back to the Holy City!

Dr. William Lawhon
Dr. William Lawhon, a native of Fort Mill, SC, is a dentist with a deep commitment to patient care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Winthrop University before graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) with his dental degree. Dr. Lawhon believes that dentistry is more than just fixing teeth—it’s about building trust and helping people live healthier, happier lives. When he’s not in the office, you can find him spending time with his wife, preparing for the arrival of their baby, cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks, and playing basketball.
