About CEREC Technology
CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. Essentially what that means is that CEREC is an in-office system used for the designing and manufacturing of dental restorations. The Steps of CEREC
With CEREC, we will first take digital images of your mouth, which are then used to create a model of your dental crown. Next, the CEREC milling machine uses that model to produce the crown, right then and there. Then, we affix the crown over your tooth and make any necessary adjustments for a perfect fit on the spot. And that’s it! In just a couple of hours, you can have your smile restored with a natural-looking, well-fitting, permanent dental crown.
